The VFW Post #9058 paid tribute to fallen com-
rades at the Nucla Cemetery on Memorial Day, 1999.
Trago Staats, the grandson of veteran, Bill Garrett, wore his
own boy scout uniform on Monday, in honor of men he's never
met, who died in places where he's never been... He's pictured
here, waiting with grandma, Ann, for the services to begin.
Peggy Kohl concluded the
service with "Taps."
